Each year, the masses descend on the San Diego Convention Center for Comic-Con, and each year a throng of cosplayers show off their love of pop culture by becoming the heroes and villains they love. And each year, we give you a sampling of the cosplay we saw at the show.
While it would be impossible to capture all of the thousands of people cosplaying at the show, we wanted to give you a cross-section of costumes from games, movies, TV shows, comics and anime.
Be sure to be on the lookout for an amazing Galactus or two, some great Ice Climbers, a rad Doof Warrior, an adorable Thor Minion, an excellent Maleficent, an on-point Wolverine, a Star Wars crossover Joker/Harley combo, plenty of Deadpool mashups, a complete Addams Family, and even someone cosplaying as the double margarita guy from Jurassic World (you'll know it when you see it).
